History of Almost all Universities in the West

You all must have heard of Oxford University,Cambridge University,Harvard University and Cambridge University.

Basically places where nerds end up, where you secretly wanna go but get scared by the fact that how hard it is to get into them and how much pressure there is there and most importantly fees.

Most Universities are established with the help of people coming from other universities.Almost all Universities in USA where established by people who originally studied at Oxford and Cambridge.

Cambridge was also established by people who originally came from Oxford.Oxford was established by people who came from University of Paris.

University of Paris used to be a branch of Cathedral School of Notre Dame.

Back then religion and schools used to be very deeply related to each other.Schools were religious and made alongside churches and originally only taught religious studies.

Cathedral of Notre-Dame was was built and started in the 12th century by Louis VII and the Bishop of France. The Bishop of France at that time.

The Bishop of France was the student of Ableard a great learned man.

So basically this one man was almost responsible for the great development of Universities in the West.

He's known for arguing teachers and not blindly believing in facts and a famous love story is also associated with him.

He travelled many places to gather knowledge and compiled it and formed new knowledge on the basis of that he found out new things.

Another  interesting fact is that Ableard's teachers were monks more than teachers while he was a more scientific person ,they followed the benedectine order .Maybe the Benedectine order lead them to greatness or something!

I would like to credit the following websites to help me become like Ableard even during a pandemic!!
